"Are we really going to stop at every house on the way to the party?"
"Lori, they're giving candy away," Chelsea responded as she dug though her freshly topped off sack of candy. "Plus that last house was giving out full size Snickers, look!" Chelsea held up the candy bar for Lori to see before swiftly unwrapping and devouring it.
Lori rolled her eyes, "Don't we have enough candy at home?"
"Um," Chelsea looked at Lori grinning, "we *had* candy at home."
Lori studied Chelsea as she tried to pull her stretchy black shirt back down over her belly, only for it to roll back up a moment later. She did look somewhat rounder than when they had left for work that morning. "You seriously managed to finish all those bags?"
"Tis the *urp*," Chelsea failed to suppress a burp, "season."
Lori smiled, "You're hopeless. Just remember we have to walk all the way back to the car after the party."
"It'll be fine, we'll just have to stop at more houses on the way back." Chelsea grabbed Lori's hand and pulled her further down the sidewalk, "Now come on, that next house looks fancy!"
