They try not to be sometimes, but they have trouble with being even a little nice, they can charm people and know how to get their way, but being stuck in a dormant state for thousands of years can make your people skills sucky, even asking for a hug can come off as weird. And they're completely loveable, maybe not to some people but plenty of others love the sarcastic attitude.
