not into pokemon that much anymore (i find the games to mainly be repeating the same thing all the time, capture/train, beat the gym leaders and the guys at the end of the game while taking out whatever villains may come up along the way) but after seeing tsutaja i'm tempted to try this new game either or both versions. he is a pretty cute pokemon :)
Good luck. Black/White are said to basically be a huge restart within the Unova/Isshu region, with none of the old pokemon being available until AFTER the Elite Four are defeated, not to mention plenty of changes as well such as Elite 4 Members using only 4 Pokemon instead of 5, not to mention the champion at the end being-- well, you'll see if you play the game. You also have the Route numbers going back to 1 instead of being #301 like some first thought and all... not to mention things like Koromori, the Regional Zubat, Minezumi, the Regional Rattata, Mamepato, the Regional Pidgey... I can't wait to work on a new team... I already know I'm going to have Snivy/Tsutarja, plus this fighting weasel I saw. You also have so many other new things like the Livecaster able to work with the DSi camera, and the first gym is the most unique compared to Brock, Falkner, Roxanne, or Rorak! (yes, I am a poke-geek, considering one of my dreams once had a Floatzel and Typhlosion raping me... lol)
ah im gonna try not to worry about the changes, whatever they may be, off-topic but it can't be as bad as sonic the hedgehog 4 :( they basically just recycled bosses from the first 3 games & knuckles (i've read plenty of complaints about the controls as well) or donkey kong country returns with no kremlings (that one fact alone doesn't sit right with meat all), back on topic: last pokemon game i played was the one with Kyogre in it... ruby i think so this might be a nice refresher on the series for me, we'll see
About Sonic 4: I want to play that actually. Then again I'm a sonic fan and want a taste of the classics brought up to new looks.
About Pokemon: I think Kyogre was Sapphire since Ruby had Team Magma wanting Groudon. But I might be wrong since its been a while since I've played the Hoenn games. So you're saying that you haven't played the Sinnoh games (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum) or the Johto Remakes (HeartGold, SoulSilver) Did you play the Kanto Remakes (FireRed, LeafGreen) or tried the updated Hoenn (Emerald)?

i tried at least one of the 2, firered/leafgreen, not sure what emerald was as i haven't played it in awhile i do remember my fave from the ruby/sapphire games though, Blaziken. i think i managed to buff up and use blaziken and/or the evolutions through almost all of the game, actually now that i think of it i've only seen the 3 new starters for black/white version so far, dunno what the rest of the new pokemon will look like.
checking them out now and there certainly... different, i don't remember many of the previous generation names but Choroneko kinda resembles one of the older pokemon, yanappu/boappu/hiyappu seem like the new evee equivilant. mamepato has 2 final evolutions based on gender, thats new, koromori Evolves: Level up with high Happiness o.O wha...? Hihidaruma: Formes: Fire-type / Fire/Psychic-type (If Hihidaruma has the Daruma Mode ability it will change formes when its HP drops below half the maximum). what in the world? this isn't just different its completely weird and seems weirder the further i look down the list
Choroneko, a dark-type cat... The elemental monkeys all three evolve by a stone, but gain no new moves upon evolution, just stronger stats. Mamepato's final form are the same pokemon, just gender differences (like pikachu's notched tail if its female), A lot of pokemon now evolved through leveled up with high happiness... Hihidaruma is a pretty unique, nothing like previous pokemon... Trust me... its definately confusing at times...
