This, so far, is the largest thing I have forged.
This tool is referred to as a few names, such names are: Stock knife, peg knife, sabot knife, and clog makers' knife (cloggers').
The entire length of the tool is 30 inches long.
Material I used to make this was a section of leaf spring.

The way to use this tool is sort of like a paper shear, you lever the blade up and down.
The good thing about this sort of tool is you are not limited to only an up and down motion, you can also turn it for a slanted cut.
It's quite versatile with the angles.
