Season of the Witch is indeed great. It gets a lot of crap for not featuring Michael, but it's a solid movie on its own merits.
Honestly for the Michael Myers movies, I'd say just watch Parts 1, 2, and H20. It makes a nice little trilogy. All the other Michael movies are mediocre to bad lol
