I like the looming sense of dread in this piece, especially with how the monster seems to be reaching from over the horizon. The face is pretty neat, too. Only critique is that the house seems a little out of place, like it isn't part of the landscape. That could be the angle or the lighting on it, maybe. Overall, nice work, it's suitably creepy for halloween week.

Yeah, I can see that about the house. If I had given mywelf more time, I would have used the glare from the windows to figure out how to illuminate the house propery. But, I decided, instead just to make it lighter in color than the shadow so that the viewer could see it, as it gets the job done.
Though I am pretty happy with how this turned out, the house is not the first think I would address about this. There are perspective issues that really bother me...
