Phyntom is a haunter that has wondered the world as a gastly at first till he fought his way to evolve into a haunter and one day found Rei as a special braxien that can see him when he's invisible and instead of her running away in fear she sat there smiling and wanted to shake his ghostly hand as a sign of friendship and gladly accepted her friendly gesture. He's been with her with other friendly ghosts befriending her and all of them have a wonderful time together but one day she fell ill and all the ghosts were with her by her side till she passed away and most know she is in a better place and place her body in a grave nearby of one place she always hung out. Most of the ghosts mourned for her passing including Phyntom but after awhile of being in her presence she rose out of her grave as a ghost with a brand new body and can sense she is like them now. The other ghosts questioned if she is the same but Phyntom was the only one courageous enough to give out his ghost hand to her like before to see if she remembers and Rei gladly takes her hand to know she is still friendly and all cheer she is back and she explains what happened to her. One day she feels hungry and Phyntom knows that sometimes some ghosts nom each other to keep each other satisfied till they can find a good food source so being a long time friend to Rei gladly offers his body to help her belly till she finds some berries or other food. At first Rei is nervous about it but Phyntom reassures her she'll be find and im sure she'll get used to it as he has with lesser ghosts so she opens her maw and finds it soothing to enter as she devours him with ease and finds she enjoys him in her belly. Phyntom enjoys relaxing inside her belly and sometimes Rei lets him out to scare most other pokemon for a good laugh and both enjoy it.
