Seeing a proper, fully realized fan-made Sentai is something I so desperately crave more of. Thank you, Smith, for helping fill the hole.
I appreciate you going for full darkness on the color scheme here- as little white as possible while having grey be the color opposite to their black. It helps keep true the vision of gloom and dread the team brings to the table. The deep colors where they can be are a striking contrast that call to mind the days of the strange, almost otherworldly hues of technicolor- a spectrum through which horror thrived.
Keeping the chest patterns simple is a good call- though they're not uniformly simple, they all have the same vibe and get their points across to reflect the personalities of each suit- and their bearers.
The helmets are badass too- specifically having the mouthplates actually be the jaw of the "face" for the main five is genius in its simplicity. My only real question mark is the blue and pink streak down each of their visors- I know its reference to a popular horror medium but my ape brain is failing to find out just what it is.
So uuuuuuh me likey. Wouldn't mind if we saw more this little diddy buuuut I also wouldn't mind if we don't. I'm easy.
