Wow, dude! A Laurie Anderson cover concert! I would have SO been there!

That said, my favourite of her albums is "The Ugly One With The Jewels". I love it when she goes into storyteller mode.

I got to see a Laurie Anderson concert once, on her "Natural History" tour! That was fun.

And actually it's much more primitive and creative than a violin which plays sampled sounds. It's a piece of recording tape on the bow which is dragged back and forth over a tape head on the violin body.

I've actually managed to catch her show several times as well as seeing her do a live interview.

Yeah, the tape bow violin. But in "Late Show" from "Home of the Brave" she was using the synth violin, so that's what I drew here.
