no.3: Dr. Frank N. Furter - The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Honestly, did you expect any less from me? Frank N. Furter is easily one of the best villains of screen and stage, due in no small part to the legendary Tim Curry. If it weren't for him, Rocky Horror would be a forgettable film albeit with a surprisingly slapping soundtrack! Prove me wrong!

When it came to doing this countdown, one of my biggest struggles was having too many characters that were generic looking. Frank was a must, not just because he's a favorite of mine but because he is anything but 'generic!' Were this based purely on my interest in a character, Frank may just have won but I feel the remaining two deserve it more as they exemplify 'mad scientist' more wholly than Frank, who's more... how do I put it? Manipulative, cross-dressing, brainwashing, man eating hedonist from another planet... but hey, it takes all kinds, right?
