If you enjoy my work, please consider pledging on my patreon! https://www.patreon.com/paddedulf it is my primary source of income, and keeps me capable of producing comics and other content !
we do monthly, patron exclusive pics and comics, as well as monthly streams where patrons make suggestions for stuff for me to draw! help me make it to the next goal on my patreon, which I'll start adding animations to the monthly polls as an option for patrons to vote on! this month is a halloween themed zootopia comic, with judy trick or treating with nick, in a fairly predictable disguise!
I'm currently working on 4 comics, 2 main, and 2 short comics
playdate-at page 23- a comic about a small bunny trying to get n touch with her little side, and finding a mommy to do it!
Emily's babying-at part 5 page 2- a comic about a bratty cat getting a little tough love(and soft padding) to set her woeful ways straight!
Sonic fan comic with rouge the bat"a messy heist" at page 6
renamon comic(sketch phase)-9 pages sketched

First I would like to say that Iâve been enjoying this comic immensely. And this might sound weird but despite the point of the regression class being obvious it didnât fully click until I saw the episode of The Owl House âWing it Like Witchesâ when Amity said to Boscha âYou know, I used to be like you, Boscha, obsessed with status, challenging my competition. But I grew up. When will you?â
Anyway on to the meta comment:
Pandoraâs box is about to be opened. Elizabeth may think she knows whatâs sheâs doing but there will be far reaching consequences sheâs unaware of.
Iâm not a Patreon supporter but I can make an educated guess on whatâs going to happen:
*Possible spoilers ahead*
Once that video is shown itâs going to get around thus starting a chain reaction that causes Elizabeth to possibly get set back in the program, and causing Bridgette to be put into the program sooner than she would have. Thereâs more though. Bridgette said it herself in the last page, nobody is supposed to know or talk about Ms Softbottom and her program. That tells me that itâs legality is in the grey. If I had to guess Iâd say itâs still in the trial phase and the school board hasnât fully signed off on it so they have to keep it hush hush. Once itâs exposed though the potential ramifications are range anywhere from it being shut down instantly to the school doubling down and using it as a deterrent for bad behaviour. Of course there would be a wave of concerned parents who donât agree with it at all and a campaign for it to be shut down anyway would definitely begin.
You canât put the genie back in the bottle.

You make some very good points. Especially about how Elizabeth is about to cause a MAJOR problem for everyone involved. If the program's existence is revealed it would expose ALL the girls in her class (including herself!) to humiliation and bullying from the rest of the school. In short, a situation similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Jba3y6cUvY
I do however, disagree about the legality issues. The A.Y.A. program probably falls under the umbrella of "Special Education". As such, the school receives additional funding for each student in the program (this is actually how it works IRL!). Therefore, the school board probably knows all about it. Remember how run-down and shabby Lakeview High School looked back on Page 10 when Emily got off the bus? https://www.furaffinity.net/view/29754763/
The school probably needed money, and this program fit the bill. Also, on Part 3 Page 5 the bunny girl (I forgot her name) said that she had to enter this program or get a criminal record for stealing a car. The school board has no say in who does or does not get charged with a felony, so it must have some tie in to the legal system.
As far as the parents complaining...
Maybe when I was a kid (mid 80's, early 90's) they might have put up a fight about that sort of thing, but now days? Not a chance. Today's parents have been through the modern school system their entire lives. Most of them would either agree that the program is good, or have been so conditioned by the system so as to not question the school's decisions.
Also, the Teacher's Union has the system rigged to such a degree that what the parents want or don't want is basically irrelevant.
Sorry if this got too political. I don't like talking politics. I know that Ulf doesn't like it either. But it's hard not to go there when the subject of the School System comes up. I'm not going to talk anymore about it here.
If you actually want to know my thoughts on the school system, read this essay by former schoolteacher John Taylor Gatto:

The program could still be in the trial phase. I agree that the school needs the money thatâs why they agreed to have it run at their school. The school board might be 50/50 on the idea so they agreed to the trial run but will shut it down if anything goes wrong before the trial is over. My guess being the trial ending upon graduation (a 4 year trial).
My guess on how the bunny girl was able to avoid a record by being put in this program is it was settled out of court: after the blame was put on her Ms Softbottom approached her parents and told them about her program. Then with help of the the bunny girlâs familyâs lawyer (and possibly Ms Softbottomâs sister who runs the clinic Elizabethâs sister is in) they convicted the judge to let her be put in the program instead of having a record.
I have to disagree with all parents being ok with it. Convincing parents one house hold at a time when theyâre child gets in trouble is one thing but all at once is another.
An example from real life would be the new Sex Ed curriculum that was supposed to be put in place in Ontario until it was shut down by angry parents who didnât understand it and made no attempt to understand.
If something like that were to happen especially if the program is still in its trial phase the school board wouldnât hesitate to throw Ms Softbottom under the bus.
