If you follow me on either Tumblr or Reddit, then you probably know that I've been doing a Generations Nuzlocke run in my Pokemon games. It's more or less the same thing as a regular Nuzlocke except that at the end of each game, the Pokemon on your team that survived to the end of the Elite Four have their offspring passed on to the next game as eggs. (My rules for this run)
And here we have the survivors from the fourth leg of my GenLocke run: Kayda the Haxorus, Josie the Darmanitan, Darwin IV the Jolteon, Chell the Reuniclus and Cobalt the Lucario. The leg ended up going a little better that my run in Platinum as I ended up losing only 9 Pokemon instead of 13, but I also ended up having to sacrifice one of my teammates during the battle against Iris. That ended up being my Dewgong, Haunani. Haunani took down most of Iris' team with Ice Beam, but when it came to her final Pokemon (her Haxorus), I ended up having to make a tough choice. Haxorus had a Focus Sash so there was no way Haunani would be able to take it down with one hit, and if I were to switch out for anyone else they'd get slaughtered. So I had Haunani weaken Haxorus with Brine so that the Focus Sash wouldn't work, and that was when she got KO'ed by Earthquake. After that, Kayda switched out and managed to finish it off with Dragon Claw. Having to sacrifice Haunani was sad, but she also helped us win the championship batttle, so her death wasn't in vain.
