To make a long story short on this one, I wanted to challenge myself on creating something special for myself for my own birthday, I ended up (sort of) succeeding with it, and while I do feel fairly good about myself for getting something done at all there, I still feel I could do better with my skills. At least better than what I've done today. That's why I felt it's best to share it as a sketch instead of something fully official. Hope you guys like what I have to share here. As for how my actual day went, it went fairly well! (Better than what one could expect from a birthday party in a COVID-19 world, at least.) Got gifted a few good pieces of art from some good friends on Discord, celebrated with what I had around me (though some family did come over to share in the festivities a bit, social distancing obviously in mind), had some good food, and had a few other gifts to celebrate as well. (Hello, Super Mario 3D All-Stars.) Honestly, for this year in particular, it's sometimes the best you can really hope for. Hopefully positive vibes can be kept up going into November, regardless of what Halloween might bring.
