Here's a design of Rush if he became a Reploid in the X Series. I think it turned out really nice.

For this design I gave Rush design elements and some abilities from Mega Man's Super Adaptor. This includes him being able to fly short distances thanks to the Booster Jump and giving him the ability to shoot out his hand for a rocket punch or to catch and drag any fleeing Maverick foe to him. Aside from those new abilities; he fights through hand-to-hand combat and can do different fighting styles and techniques: ranging from martial arts to wrestling moves.

For personality (since he can now speak clearly), he'd be a bit like his Ruby Spears cartoon counterpart (where he was goofy and spoke in a Scooby Doo-sounding voice); but he'd also be cocky and wisecracking, but also loyal, playful, wise (to some extent), and affectionate towards his allies. Nevertheless he can also be rather formidable when fighting Mavericks.
