HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!! Finished this one RIGHT in time for my favorite holiday ever. <3 Here's my cutie spooky duo; spirits of Halloween that guide lost trick-or-treaters home. Soot the black cat lives in her big pumpkin pal Spice, keeping their soul-candles lit in exchange for a cozy, warm home. They roam rural roads on Halloween night, only visible to kids & true believers in the magic o Halloween. Spice can seem a bit spooky at first, so Soot stocks up on Halloween candy every year to cheer up the lost souls as they ride around inside Spice's cozy pumpkin-belly to find the little one's home!

Awwh thanks!! And yeah, she may have gotten a little excited around some particularly spooky decorations & ripped it! But luckily the little candy hoarder has been making trips back and forth all night. She has plenty of candy to make up for the stuff that fell out! :D

okay coherent thoughts first: love the lighting, perspective, creature design, and painterly style of this! But what got me immediately was the texture of the pumpkin beast! I'm not sure what about it conveys 'pumpkin' so much, but it literally looks like its a beast carved from actual pumpkin and it's super cool!! :D
