This is a short bonus scene for Giant Things & Tiny Things.

A flashback from Kiwa's childhood, when she tried to become a Ranger. It's very short but illuminates the relationship between Kiwa & Denek further.

There's no good place in the story for it in terms of pacing, but I quite like the "feels" here and it hurt to cut it out... so here it is salvaged in at least a sketched form. :>
