"Sixteen days, guys! It's literally only been sixteen days since we started our workouts!" the raccoon remarked indignantly as he folded his hands over his belly. "I'm not gonna lose all this weight overnight."
"Yet you gained it all overnight, you mentioned?" A friend asked, giving a teasing poke. "Jack, you said Santa gave it to you for Christmas... and then you kept getting bigger!"
"How was I supposed to know my wish would come true?!" Jack snarled, turning his head away from his friends. "Besides, it's not like it's gotten worse or anything."
"Well, your clothes just ripped... they weren't ripped before." Jack felt another friend rub their hand onto his belly. "Not gonna lie, Jack, I think you let yourself go even more. It doesn't help yer case that you've still got a bag of donuts in your hand."
"What's the worst a few donuts can do to my physique? I needed to celebrate sixteen days of working out!" Jack stuck his tongue out.
"Sixteen days of working out and somehow you put on another hundred pounds." The friend teased again. Jack realized there was going to be no persuading these guys otherwise.
