My artist friends were bemoaning a lack of easily purchasable gold textures so I made a whole shitton of em and put them on Gumroad. They can be used for both personal and commercial projects.

huh, your friends are right... I checked my usual place for textures and there's really nothing there... unless if you were creative with some of what they have for free, but the only good ones are... slightly pricier individually than your bundle deal you've got going on here

I also did a search and just couldn't find anything I would want to use. So I got a lot of gold leaf, tinfoil, etc. and put together the sort of thing I might employ and crossed my fingers that it'd be useful to other people, too.

I figured being clever using virtually any metal or even tinfoil and giving it a yellow/orange tint should give around similar results to actual gold.

Either way, you're doing god's work giving us affordable textures a lot of us didn't know we needed :P

Very nice. My only concern is that seamless textures are the thing I'd really want (not that I have a need for textures of any sort at the moment).

Yeah I hear you. I considered making them seamless but it was a lot of extra work. These things are GIGANTIC, though, so unless you're making game tiles or something it ought to cover any project.

Honestly this line up all on it's own looks like it's supposed to be some epic book cover or a poster for an art exhibit. Really captured the beauty and essence of it.
