This is the first OC I've had with my buddy in a while that hasn't actively had TQ spoilers on my end (unless you haven't read chapter 9. Naughty!).
I really wasn't fond of Klissa being called "Klissa". With her race named the Slissa, 'Klissa the Slissa' just sounded lame.
I'm officially shortening her name to Kliss.
This OC also has the first design of her bestest friend, who is currently unnamed. He can likely be convinced to come along for the adventure, but he won't like it very much.
He has a bit of a crush on Kliss, but she only sees him as a friend. Poor guy.
Apparently I drew Seral and Dilia's breasts too small (D and DD respectively). Half of why they were made so shapely is so I'll eventually stop doing this. I also really need to concentrate on making shoulders go further out.
The joke with Jiniki is that she keeps shrinking as the quest goes on (she's larger than Amiel in chapter 7, and by chapter 11 is about half as tall as her). She was always MEANT to be small, I just didn't know how to draw.
I kept Guindo's drawings of Joel at the bottom because I like the reaction shot I drew.
Oh. Also circle-art sonic and tails. Yay.
H'okay. Back to work on 10's flash version. NEARLY DONE.

B = 2 inch

But breasts don't just stick straight out, especially if the character is small around the ribcage (usually thinner sorts); the flesh of the breast might actually start more on her side when they get that large.

I know about the inch thing, mostly, but I guess I get thrown off by gravity. I mean if they held one out and it was 4 inches, but let it drop and going around it is only 3 inches, would it still be a D or a C?

Yeah, more Seral than Dilia. Breasts fit around the contour of the body. To give a visual... imagine making a judo-chop hand, placing it against someone's hip, then swiping straight up their body. You will strike most people in the armpit. If you attempt to do that with a large breasted woman, you will hit the breast first and it will be enough to stop your hand from reaching the armpit.
She will likely be very mad and make everyone stop playing that game.
If it's 4 inches supported up, it's a D. Like you say, gravity will pull weight down, but it's still 4 inches worth of fat. Gravity does not make fat disappear, it just changes is shape. :D

I had some loose idea of this (some of Dilia's images in chapter 11 show them going fairly far past the torso in frontal shots. Or, I guess, the one frontal shot she had). But I guess it all boils down to practicing more! I'm not going to complain about having to practice this particular subject.
At the same time that I'm slowly figuring this out, I'm also slowly figuring out how female hips work after years of them eluding me so. If you have any handy tips in that area as well...
Guindo says they go out as far as the shoulders, but I haven't seen that happen very often on the ladies I've looked at. There's also the fact that some girls have wider hips than others.

Haha helping you with female hips would require me to understand male hips as a frame of reference. Or understand hips at all. And I don't. But remember female waists are just sliiiightly higher than male waists. This means the hip bone actually starts at or even above the navel, where as in males it's a few inches below that.
