I have not seen the Macross series but I know it reflects the SDF1 from the Robotech series awsomely

I love the Robotech series, firstly, and I also love the morbid tone of this, considering Robotech was sad alot of the time, especially in the game Robotech Battle Cry where Jack died adrift in space after he defeated the Zentradi OverLord.

Post- Last-Shot-fired....but just before Kamujin's (Khyron's) ship spears right between the remnants of the main gun... That ending surprised me the first time I saw it.

actually the scene is right after Kamujin's ship had plowed right into her. more or less wanted to show the aftermath when most of the fighting had died down.

Ah... but I thought when he plowed through them, he sheared off the bridge 'head', as well as a good portion of the upper torso? I remember an image of the main gun remnants being pushed aside so hard they physically seperated from the ship.

Eh. Whatever. Still an awesome pic. :)

You're right... XP I totally missed that. I keep forgetting that the Jack McKinney description (as wonderfully done as it was) was not exactly accurate.

I mostly forgot that the ship got its torso on the right sheared off, but the bridge was intact. (I think I read somewhere that the bridge crew didn't die, and that Gloval actually went on to die natural causes or something, later in life).

LoL... the old Robotech version I'm used to had the bridge destroyed, crushed when Khyron smashed through the ship.

*listens to clip* An actual english version of the original script? Nice!... a shame they didn't get decent voice actors though... Ugh. No matter the incarnation, Minmei's voice still annoys the fuck out of me.
