WARNING: If melodramatic venting poetry triggers your gag reflex or compels you to troll the submitter "just for the lulz", GTFO. Thank you.
So since the other poem was so well-received, I decided to post something that despite how horrible I was feeling at the time I wrote it, I'm extremely proud of. This poem is about 4 years old and was written during a VERY bleak time in my life when I was having a very hard time getting along with my family, my relationship hanging by threads, and I was having a very hard time seeing the good around me, little of it as there was.
Despite the rampant negativity contained therein, I feel that looking at it again 4 years later, it's has a very profound message. Now I choose to see it more as a message of caution than a lament. Perhaps to you it'll mean something else. =3
Even though 4 years later, I'm not in all THAT better a state than I was back then, I take comfort in the knowledge that I -did- manage to crawl out from this hole and persevere.
That gloomy monologue now over with ... Read, enjoy, and comment! =D

"Driven Deep
Into the Plush Softness
Of a ravaged innocence."
...Wow; yes; it's very powerful, and provocative. It's a very direct poem; grabbing the reader, and showing it's story. ^^
A friend of mine would be giddy over:
"Can we not feel
the Kiss of the Lash
Cruel and Sensual"

Your style seems very raw; very visceral. It makes your poems gripping and enticing ^^.
It's odd for me to say this really; because I'm not a huge fan of poetry; but this I like ^^. In mine; I was inspired in a slightly different direction; being wordy and descriptive about the subject, and making it as a story... your style cuts right to the heart of matters; making it's message take center stage. It's a very aggressive kind of style; arresting your reader's senses. It's rather refreshing ^^
