This, this right here, is why I always hated trick-r-treating is areas where the divine guys lived. Sure, some of them give away some nice ambrosia filled candies(Odin had caramel golden apples one year that were fantastic...still sure Loki spit on one), but they like to give out things that aren't good for those of lower dimensions sometimes too, without thinking about it.

Oh, except for that Grim Reaper couple from SCP 3540, they give the good stuff. That lady gave me a King Sized pack of reese's cups a few years back. The good kind, with full sized reese's and four of them in the pack. Sure, the wails of the damned when I opened it scared the beejeesus out of me, but they were good candy.

In my town someone snuck painkillers in a thing of tictacs for Halloween this yeat
