I was recently reminded of a web comic site I put together for Scot Zellman. If any of you are not familiar with Scot's wonderful comic, Buster Wilde, I put it back up on FurNation. Enjoy!

Awww... I was actually hoping you knew if he did anything else.
Any idea if you could pick up where he left off? (i.e., if you could get permission to do so)
Also kinda reminds me of a short strip Paf did called Pornography. I don't think I got all of it either, which is a shame. I keep meaning to ask him about it sometime.
Im glad im now at the point in my life where i can REALLY appreciate the skill and talented writing that make this comic so funny! XD
Thanks for bringing back a blast from the past! I actually got one of my favorite quotes from this comic "So i sez, you know what i sez, i sez.." XD

I would prefer to respect his wish to not have this continued by someone else. It's the last thing he asked me so it would be wrong of me to go against his wishes especially after all the wonderful art and comics he gave us. It would be like someone else starting up Calvin and Hobbs again after Bill Waderson stopped.
It's funny you post this now, because I just went through and re-read the comic from start to finish last week for old times sake. :D
It was so cleverly written and well-done on so many levels that I'm actually kinda glad that no one else took off with it after Scot stopped; it just wouldn't be right. It'd be like if Calvin and Hobbes got taken over by a ghost writer.
That being said, I really wish that it hadn't ended so soon. It was absolutely hysterical! Plus, it was a furry comic that had style, humor and character, and held everyone's attention without ever showing any sex. Positively brilliant.
Thanks for keeping the site online, it's always a treat to read through. ^_^

Chances are I saw him and had no idea who he was; we hung out at the same coffee shop (now sadly gone). The strip was doubly fun knowing the bars, businesses and neighborhood he's using -- and FSM knows I've seen plenty of Hector and Gordon types wandering around the Short North. :D
Well he never was really 'in' the fandom and yes the furries did creap him out a bit. He is just an illustrator who for what ever reason decided to make a gay werewolf story. Some of the illustration boards he used to be on rumored he actually died but others said he is still around but out of touch for whatever reason. His Email was deleted or changed and all other conatact info gone.
I came across Buster Wilde looking for the explanation of what the Furry Fandom explosion in 1996 was about. (afterward I realized though preceeding 'Furry' by around thirty years, I already was a furry and didn't know it! Nice to have a link that works thanx!
I just discovered this webcomic ! I was born in 1992, but I've always had kind of a nostalgic feeling towards those early fandom years that I never knew and the art and comics that appeared back then.
Buster Wilde is one of those works that were "too good to last", as people say.

I used an archive link to read the comic as well; the one used on its TVTropes page, to be exact : https://web.archive.org/web/2000091.....0/BusterWilde/
Other than that, Scot appears to have two separate Wordpress accounts, with one ("zellhound", with an H) focusing on his graphic novel Mordant Goulash :
He also has a PrismComic account but his user page is pretty empty : https://www.prismcomics.org/profile/scotzellman/
His email adress can be found on both Wordpress and PrismComic pages too, so maybe you could try contacting him directly ?
