Miles was wondering about what his next invention should be, and whether it would be a complex contraption or a small gadget. He had just finished designing a machine that, after having its container filled with frosting, iced cupcakes in a perfect swirl with the press of a button. It could also disperse sprinkles and other miniature toppings across the cupcake's surface. The idea was inspired by his frustrations with failing to replicate the swirl pattern on the many images of cupcakes he found on the Internet. Months' worth of labor, and it was a great success. Now what? Where to go from here? It was time to think... which also meant it was time to break out a box of chocolate bars.

Miles exited his laboratory and waddled over to his pantry to collect some snacks, noting how out of breath the trek had made him. Once there, Miles sat in silence, letting his mind run rampant for ideas. As he did, he unwrapped bars of chocolate to nibble on, holding extra bars on standby with Psychic. Eating seemed to speed up his thought process.

Most of his inventions were brought on by a perceived problem that Miles could invent something to fix or facilitate. What sources of trouble existed? Looking down at his enormous abdomen, it hit him that he looked more corpulent and felt more weighty than he had as of late. He recalled how exhausted he was after lugging his hefty body from his workshop to his pantry.

'Hmm... It has been gradually getting more difficult to move. Maybe I should invent something to assist my mobility? Ah, that's it!'

Then an idea struck! If he could design a machine that could support his weight, he could move about his laboratory - and the rest of his house, he realized with glee - at a much faster rate than he would if he waddled. It wouldn't leave him fatigued, either! Miles raised a fist in the air, a triumphant gesture to indicate his new idea. He could already envision the blueprints writing themselves in his head, a thought that only made him more excited. He would never have to worry about being rendered tired by walking ever again!

"Alright! I should start putting this idea to paper! But first, there's a few chocolate bars left to finish off. No way I'm putting a half-empty box back!"
