I dug through my WIPs for something else to finish. Here's my boy GUNTHER! He's a big, friendly- very noisy- pig. I imagine him running a dinky little roadside diner that serves super greasy junky vegan food MMM. I'm always shy about doing harsh/strong lighting. Putting down really bold shadows or highlights feels like such a commitment. But I tried! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

i really like the warm tones and the colors in general. so good
but hard agree that bold shading/lighting is hard esp when youre using hard shading and not painting because its like. where do i put the shadow. in this area where the shading would be soft/gradual where is the line drawn. if that makes sense. (how many times can i say hard in one sentence challenge)
also nice use of double chin lmao. and how you draw teeth. it gets me

MMM FRIED PICKLES. Oh gosh I'm not sure yet but I'd love to draw some weird ridiculous foods from it someday!! I'm sure there's lots of MUSHROOMS, LEGUMES, and TASTY ROOTS. As well as beautiful delicious vegetables breaded and dumped in the deep fryer. Probably some mysterious stews and messy greasy sandwiches. Lentil loaves and faux-meats made out of all sorts of different stuff: mushrooms, carrots, gluten, eggplants, soy, etc.
I can see him having an affinity for breakfast foods too- BIG FLUFFY PANCAKES
