The Haunted Bowl

This is one of those animated candy bowls I take out every Halloween and fill with candy for the trick-or-treaters. It's been in my family for years, and it's still going strong. The skull's eyes and jaw are activated by a light sensor, and it also says funny phrases like "Hey, those are mine!", "Are you sure you're gonna eat that? It might be a trick instead of a treat!", "Don't get too greedy!", and of course "Happy Halloween!" I may not have gotten as many kids at the door as usual because of the pandemic, but the ones that did come still liked the bowl more than they did the candy.

there is no way in hell that i would have taken any food from that bowl as a kid. i would have been freaked out to high hell

Well, believe it or not, some of the younger kids were skittish about that bowl. But most of the kids thought it was pretty cool.
