That's a hard one to answer, it could be one or the other, or even both.
The change wasn't instant either so could be a mix of both but not so much of "relaxing my inhibition", that much I can definitly garantee.
There is a hormonal difference that feel like it play a huge part.
Like feeling sad, before I would feel sad cause I knew I had to be sad.
Now I FEEL sad when sad happens, I get more giddy when something happens, I'm not grumpy as much anymore ( which could be less testosterone, less anger). I feel calmer and more in touch with how I feel.
But yes feeling closer to what I feel is more "me", does also help, is like finally finishing playing a long masquerade so people don't spot something off about.
