The first I saw of the so-called god was ----a mount of crocodilian flab and blubber glistening wet in the sunlight.

The loud sounds of his massive bloated gut churning, gurgling and groaning was almost omnipresent and constant within the compound, only being occasionally over-power by the thunder of the overfed reptile's explosive expulsion of gasses from it's maw.

When I asked how the creature could even be even still be alive like this it's followers took it as just another sign of it's divinity.

Folds upon folds of strained flesh, a river of half-consumed food and grease running down them, leading up to the to the snout, almost buried in those circles of flab surrounding it, currently trying to consume what looked to be the lavishly cooked remains of severely oversized ox. I would say it seemed almost as if it was proud of how sloppily and noisily it was consuming, if I hadn't since been entirely convinced that it was. ... I stood there waiting... when the last of the ox had finally made it's way past it's maw and down, a long drawn out burp followed. I could tell it was enjoying giving this first impression, and as it's mouth closed following the burp, it led smoothly into the smuggest grin I'd ever seen in my life.
