This is Caius Lucian III, member of the Dawn Caste of the Solar Exalted. He's my character in the game of Exalted run by my boyfriend. I've only played in a few sessions since we live in different states, but I'm gonna be able to take part in the games from now on (or soon anyway, since I dunno how my character is rejoining the group yet) and I've been meaning to draw him for a while.
As far as I know, Caius doesn't actually possess this particular sword. I just wanted to draw a giant sword and this is what I came up with.
Exalted is a pretty cool game.It fights fair folk and doesn't afraid of anything. One of its stated goals is to not take influence from Tolkien, so it's a lot less samey than most fantasy.
Thanks to Yoshitaka Amano and Tite Kubo for inspiration, both visually and conceptually.

Who would compare it to Tolkien with all of the ridiculous god-tier things that happen in Exalted
I mean, that is the system my friends and I consider if we want to get extra points for cutting a building in half to attack an enemy rather than just hit them directly. It is so goofy and wonderful.
