I think this actually might look sort of like it took forever. Good! That's progress.
Ceege -- I know your colored inorganics idea is just what I need. I just had a few reasons for doing this particularly so I wanted to shit it out first.
So gais, is it an improvement over the first one? To what degree? This one's SRS BUSINESS for me, so I'd really appreciate any amount of feedback. :x

Yeah, me and my other half have a tablet, but I havent gotten into using it much lately. Im currently coloring a blank scan up I'd had for awhile (Mainly because I owe request's and trade art, but have no scanner until FN in my move) and Ive been using the paint brush tool.... And it takes FOREVER.... lol... I tried using the tablet once after the mouse and hated life for a few minutes... D:

There's a lot to get the hang of, is all. The nice thing about coloring with a tablet (when you're doing flat colors) is that you can control the size of your pointer through the pen pressure, so it's easier to fill big areas without worrying about going all over the lines in the more detailed parts.
When it comes to fancy coloring or painting or whatever, there are an asston of tricks that you pretty much have to learn the hard way or be lucky enough to have someone teach you. The all rely on the control of using a tablet, so if you want to do digital painting someday it's best to get used to one early.

Yeah, Im gonna have to do some mad work with it, Im trying to go to school this upcoming fall for graphic design, and any aother art classes I can throw in there.
Damn tablet. Thanks for the advice though, I really need all I can get when it comes to PS'ing. Ive managed to get a buuuutttload of Cntrl shortcuts down, and Ive been usingit for most my manipulation: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3945673
and even though its real simple stuff, Its helping me get used to using different things on there. I have like, a guidebook that my other half is letting me use, but Its even more confusing sometimes, like that.

Be careful with guidebooks, because some are good and some are terrible. But I guess if you're going to be taking design classes the professors there would give some pretty good advice on the subject.
I don't know how people blend shades in Photoshop. I can't use the burn and dodge tools without it looking tacky as hell, and using the blur tool to blend my brushstrokes makes it look airbrushed. So I got Easy PaintTool SAI, a little Japanese program with really fucking awesome brush settings. I think most of the digital artists I know use it.
And it's cool with pretty much everyone here (except addlesee lol) if you watch them. It's not reciprocal, meaning the people you watch can just ignore you if they want to, and it makes those pretty numbers on their page get bigger. You don't have to ask, I mean. :>

Lol, yeah. I know the classes can get high speed and I didnt really wanna fall behind on anything, so I was trying to get as much applied knowledge as possible.
Ive noticed alot of SAI stuff, and really would like to try it.
I figured, but I wasnt sure. Im alot more used to DA, and didnt know how people here felt about same recprications or whatever. Something fancy sounding in modern english. Art site ettiquette is okay with me, though sometimes awkward.
