a fuzzy woodland creature
hiking up mt. sugarloaf again, the chipmunks are out and about.
they don't let you get very close, but this wasn't such a bad photo. he thought for a long time that i didn't see him, so held still on that tree for a while.

I don't know a great deal about animals by a long shot (shows in my drawings, doesn't it? ;p ) Just moved into a new home about a week ago. I noticed that there's a tree in the front yard that seems to have at least two squirrels around it at all times. I'm amazed amazed that they basically will ignore nearby people until they're about 5 steps away from them before they scurry off somewhere. I'm tempted to take pictures of them when I get hold of another camera, but I can't think of anything worthwhile I'd do with the photos if I did.
