Oh gosh that was amazing I will never look at this song the same way ever again. The emotion you conveyed in the pages was truly wonderful. I especially like the ending shot of the penitentiary here. This was an emotional thrill ride and you sir deserve all the praise in the world
Loved it <3

Rather than comment in each page... because when checked FA was all posted already....
Bravo! yesh, you managed it really well! From the expressions accompaning the lyrics (hey, i didnt even knew this 'song' existed..), to the astonishing develop of the plot, the variety of 'angles' in the scenes, the deep contrasts in lights and colors...everiything, would dare to say... Brilliant!, Awesome! , really well done! ^V^

Okay, the last response to this was pretty much the middle[i] of 2012, so I'm super-late, but I [i]did only recently start following you.
I actually hadn't heard of this song until I heard the parody of this song, How To Kill Your Brand (about the initially somewhat failed release of the PS3 vs. 360); a friend of mine told me that the song was a "parody" of one of her favorite songs, and told me what the song was; I looked it up online, and it was a pretty damn good song!
Then I found your comic about it, and... it actually drove me to tears. Of course, part of that is due to a medical condition of some sort where I can't help but constantly cry over every little thing that makes me feel even the slightest bit of emotion, but even with that aside, you did a marvelous job!

Man I love this song so much but I never gave the lyrics much thought until I saw this video on youtube and I saw your comic here on FA.
Man now I can't seeing the this comic every time I hear this song. Your interpretation of lyrics mixed with art is amazing. IMO I wish more folks would love your art more. Especially this comic based off the this song
Also end up feeling sorry for the guys seeing him stuck in that room for the rest of his life.

Thanks so much!
I can say pretty safely that is is probably the most popular thing I've done, although the Jack Salem comics have been pretty popular too.
The one good thing for people discovering my work for the first time now is that I have a huge backlog of material that should keep readers occupied for quite a while!
Thanks again for the nice comments.

Well, FA does notify people when they get comments, so it's not like I'm constantly scrolling through my stuff looking for new comments!
Yes, I do have a couple of songs in the pipeline, one really old (from the late 60's) the other sort of old (1990's), but there's a few projects I need to get done before that so I doubt I'll be getting to them until later this year.

I know this was addressed in a previous comment, but I too can mentally hear the final three chords of the song playing in my head as I look at the three-panel pullback from the (most likely) maximum solitary confinement facility that Mr. Brightside finally found himself in due to just not being able to control his jealously.
Brilliant work, Roz. Brilliant.

Thanks so much! I have found that this particular strip is one of the most popular things I've done, although I should thank The Killers for their excellent song. Yes, the entire strip is paced so it matches the music, including the three beats at the end. Not sure what the security on the prison is-- it was taken from a photograph a fan sent me when I asked for exterior prison photos, so that's an actual prison that exists somewhere!
