This is one of my first introductions into leather work, I wanted to start simple but add a lil creative flair. I got a good deal on some dyed deer suede leather, and figured "F**k it" just try to roll with something and see what happens.
I did learn quite a bit with this one.
One, leather tools are stupid expensive.
Two, but worth it.
I got a good idea what may and may not work when cutting and sewing suede. The embroidered stones you see are simply some opalite glass beads, with some fiber optic cats eye beads, along with some .925 silver beads and pewter leaf accents. The main accent is a peice of opalite carved into a simple leaf design, but the lighting ended up eating the detail.
