Had thought about beastfolks who are all of varying heights depending on their species, and humans at the smallest rung among these big folks

A sharp quake threw many off their feet, followed by a great light breaking through the underground bunker, blinding the unprepared. While humans were quite capable of making villages and towns at their scale, they would be in plain sight of those furred giants, so many would make shelter under rocks and into the earth to settle someplace safer. Or, at least that was what they assumed, before the impossibly heavy stone ceiling lifted over, revealing the massive face of a lemur. The grinning macro turns over and says something in his tongue, understood by no one as it rumbles through the dirt and stone.
