That was a fun Twitter thread to follow. You did an excellent job of compositing your drawings on top if the screenshots. Though I can’t tell if it’s because of your artistic workflow or the result of “post-production” tweaks on your end, but your art seems to fit so nicely into the landscapes.
Thank you! A bit of both, probably - I traced some of the immediate surroundings off my monitor for the more complex ones, and generally had an idea of what I was going to do. The Witness has some themes in its audiologs and world of escaping to a more idealized place, so they're both wearing white. Arizona, where Hunrath was taken from, is very hot, so they're in short sleeves - that sort of thing. I didn't actually do much digital editing, the biggest parts was adding blur to match the graphics of Myst and adding a shadow here.
