In celebration of the Halloween Blue Moon, the first of a double Moonlight Maidens post. Happy Halloween!
In the world of Alvez, Kalan Goañv marks the New Year, where the warm and bright days of Summerrule become the cold and dark nights of Winterrule. The harvest has been taken in as massive bonfires dot the hills of Breizh, masked figures darting through the night to ward of the spirits of the restless dead or the dark creatures of Faerie that come out at sunset. The Veil between Bedoaur and Faerie thins, and with it, the border between the living and the dead, the mundane and the magical. And it is on that night that Antoinette Beaumoulin, the loyal maid and squire of Enora de Chinon, finds herself on the receiving end of a rather fur-raising curse...
