Bergfresser Anatomy: Exterior
Someone asked if I could do an anatomy pic for Berg like I did with the Hillanders. And so I made some anatomy sheets, in as many details as possible: an exterior, interior and reproductive sheet. (Will be uploaded one by one.)
The Bergfresser has 3 types of exterior, regular skinny underbelly, a smooth scaled back and fluffy limbs, ears & tail. The fluff is like feathery down, only the tails has slightly stronger hair. The mouth has no teeth, the front is covered like a beak with horn-like material. 4 toes on each leg with claws which they use for digging up roots. Bergfressers are usually colored in yellow-ish to orange shades, in rare cases a fiery red.
The design is based on Heraldry imagery, gryphons in particular: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greif_(Wappentier)#/media/Datei:Vorpommern_Greif_(Landeswappen).svg

Thanks folks~

I'm bad with size estimates of fictional character lol but I think Barrel is roughly 2 meters tall, give or take.
Our Berg from the story is about the size of one and a half horses stacked on each other. (His species can grow much larger though under the right circumstances.) He'd fill out an average room if he ducks and he *could* swallow a human whole without much straining.
The average Hillander is small enough to comfortably fit into a human palm.
