If it isn't COMPLETELY OBVIOUS by now, I'll explain.
I'm over 2 years late to the Left4Dead fandom, but I'm still content otherwise. In my efforts to try a new cosplay (it's been almost 3yrs since I have...) I realized that my favourite zombie in L4D, is quite frankly the most cost efficient cosplay I could ask for!
Amazingly enough, the prototype you see here was done on a whim. Everything used was practically within arm's length in my bedroom. I've since then bought new pants, shoes, fabric paint for blood and face-paint/make-up (all totaling to under $15!). Just need to look for a proper/larger hoodie.
*Will be scrapped.
-Not looking for critique here. Thanks.

The watercolour paints are brilliant for the blood on the face/tape but tends to just flake off on my hands after lots of moment. It was honestly hilarious to just gob on eyeshadow all over my face. XD
I am so fucking excited, you have no idea. I got sandpaper to give the hoodie/pants an aged look (and some holes). For now I'm going with duct-tape since it's easier to use but will eventually either replace or just place proper bandages over them. It's been so fun purposely making something fucked up, lol.
Fuck Walmart for not selling hoodies all year round. :l

(Here's) a few others as well. I honestly have hardly seen maybe 2-3 REAAAAALLY good cosplays and they're usually L4D2 with all the ripped clothes etc. I don't see many (good) females as Hunters though, they're always too clean. ;<
Walmart had the PERFECT pants on sale, man. It's the grey/khaki coloured jeans for $6. woopwoop~!

Funny enough I see more L4D related hunters then the L4D2.
D8 I dress up as the L4D2 hunter and yea...I ripped my clothes.
I think its easier being the first generation hunter cause not too complicated
as the second one. D8 I just hope when I go as a hunter at CF...that I told look stupid...
I never cosplayed before so I pretty nervous about it. xD;

That is true. It's a "staple" or "cookie-cutter" cosplay, unfortunately. I'm just too much of a Hunter fan to not do it, despite the popularity. xD
Awwwww. :( -patpat- This is my 3rd time over the past 5yrs (it's usually extremely expensive) but it's my first cosplay that's not clean-cut & character oriented. Crouching on corners or walk around hunched over making random noises is a lot easier than having to keep in line with a personality etc. u_u;
You have any photos? :o

Ah man....totally, I remember some of your cosplays....think one was from Naruto...I could be wrong?
yea....I love the hunter and feel their should be more chicks doing it! xD haha.
Sadly I got no photos, when I made and dressed up as the hunter, it was for my friend
Leachy's birthday party and the theme was Zombies/survivors. So I dressed as the hunter and
Leachy dressed as Louise xD it was funny but boy was it cold! o0o!

Sad thing is, I'm doing this without the intention of any conventions. q_q Everything is just too far away from here. Even those in state cost $200 for transportation alone (train). I'm working on a tiny budget, sadface. I generally keep cosplays "active" for a year or 2 at a time, so if I can manage next year - TOTALLY. :D Halloween is gonna be a blast though.
