Just letting you know they only had two nostrils, with a ridge in the middle, not three nostrils.
For no ref you did awesome though. Gosh I miss those books. I was so sad when they made a CRAPPY tv show about them. They didn't even morph right!
They need to make a movie. o.o

Ehhhhh I was always more of an Elfangor person myself, and not just the whole "I turned some punks into hero's like Zordon" thing. I mean, he was a guy flung into a HUGE battle that he was only PARTIALLY prepared for, got his MASTER taken by soon to be Visser 3, fell in love with a random chick and ended up moving to Earth with her, then by listening to the Elemist was ripped back to his own place in space to save the day only to find out that he had a son and could do nothing about it since he agreed.
And yet, he somehow was able to get one chance to at least SEE Toby and gave him a gift that was so rare it would have completely ruined his status were he going to live through the crash. When Toby found out that Elfangor was his father everything changed about him from that point on in the series. He had more pride and worked harder to be the best he could, even though he was trapped in the hawk body. At least he was gifted his morphing powers back by the Elemist.
Ax on the other hand, though a great character, and highly developed, I always found to try TOO hard to be in his brother's shadow. I mean, ALL he knew was Elfangor's pronounced deeds that lead to his becoming a War-Prince. And so BECAUSE of that Ax was always trying to be a strategical genius or do things that would make him look as good as his brother. It showed true courage when he took responsibility for Elfangor giving the morphing technology to the kids so his brother's reputation wasnt ruined after his death, and in that one moment Ax was as great and shining as his brother, but aside from that, he was always playing the "little brother" role. Ax knew nothing of the more difficult things he went through, like the pain of leaving his wife, struggling with the knowledge that HE created the single most physicly powerful Yeerk in the universe, and probably the hardest never knowing his son, but wishing he did, THAT kind of thing a father never forgets no matter HOW long.
Meh, just my thoughts on it. Good to reminisce old memories, lol.
