Sunday Sketchdump 5/23/10
I've decided that the best way to get frequent content for you guys is to post the random sketches I make when I'm hanging out with my father on Sundays. I visit my father on Sundays. Me, my father, and my sister are all artists so we hang out sketching.
Front and center is a picture of SnowyDog, whose FA name I do not know but I know his avatar is a picture of a husky with a mudkip in his mouth. It may not be a perfect likeness because I was working from memory. He's an attractive man and I want to draw him again so I will do better in the future. I wanted to draw his distinctive smile but I couldn't get that to work out right so I drew him looking somber, or high I cannot decide which.
In the striped shirt is a man I met at Bellfurs. If you see this tell me your name, I was the bald man in the gray pinstriped suit. I'm sorry I drew your nose so big but I am a cartoonist exaggerations are my game. Also you do have a pretty big nose but I think it is kinda cute.
Bottom right is an old man.

I'm impresses that you used fairly simple lines and details to create a variety of faces and expressions that express a lot and are each very different from the other.
Also, as inconceivable as developing an immunity to poison is, it's also quite practical for outfoxing loudmouthed men who are full of themselves.
"He's not dead. He's MOSTLY dead. There's a difference!"

I practice those a lot, about two years ago I started drawing humans and now random faces and expressions are mostly what my sketchbooks comprise. Recently I've gained the confidence to start doing portraits and caricatures, although more than once I've drawn a man and shown it to the room without saying who it's supposed to be, and everyone recognizes it but the man in question.
