From a young age, Ian suffered from a degenerative disease that led to him slowly losing mobility in his body, leaving him bound to a wheelchair and needing to be cared for constantly. Many times he wished that he join the other kids. To run and play outside and not worry about the degeneration of his body.
One day, he and his parents were approached by a person in a brightly colored uniform. They had heard about Team Union from accounts on the news, and so were all wary. However, strangely, instead of just trying to shoot them with catalyst, the TU Grunt instead mentioned that he had heard about Ian’s plight, and that if they would allow it, he could possibly help the boy. Though it would involve being changed into a Pokemorph, and this particular Grunt didn’t want to just force the change from the shadows.
Ian’s parents weren’t really sure how to respond, but it was the young boy himself who practically jumped at the idea. The sheer possibility of gaining the ability to move around again was too much to pass up, and he outright begged his parents to allow him to be turned into a Pokemorph. His parents, though wary, couldn’t bring themselves to tell him no, and so allowed the Union Grunt to go ahead.
Having asked if there was any Pokemon in particular that Ian was interested in becoming and receiving a ‘not sure’ response, the Grunt set the Catalyst device to random and shot a glob at the boy.
Ian would experience a change throughout his body as the virus attempted to convert him into a Shedinja Morph. However, in the process, things ended up going a little strange. While his outside body become a Shedinja, there was an unexpected reaction from within his body as a secondary figure was ejected from the hole in his back. A secondary individual that was clearly a Ninjask.
Ian had become two different people, and not only that, but complications in regards to the ‘genderless’ aspect of the Shedinja led to a glitching that resulted in Ian’s secondary ‘Ninjask’ self becoming female.
It was very confusing for the both of them, as they had trouble deciding just who was who, as they were both ‘Ian’, but they still couldn’t both be ‘Ian’. Still, both of them would discover that they were no longer forced to be bound to a wheelchair. In fact, the Ninjask Ian seemed to possess an inexhaustible amount of energy leading to her zipping about. The Shedinja Ian was more easy going, but still enjoyed being able to move around on their own.
After an eventual trip to a newly established Pokemorph psychologist named Dr. Raymond, the two of them were able to agree that neither of them were actually Ian anymore, and it wouldn’t be a good idea for one of them to keep using the name while the other didn’t. As such, Ninjask Ian would soon be known as Iona, and Shedinja Ian would adopt the name Emery.

You know, going through all these pokemorph pics has led me coming up with two questions, as well as a way continue the story though them.
--The GOD Problem:
My first question has us addressing the holy giraffe in the room. With all these people being transformed, what does Arceus think about it? I mean, because of this, Arceus may have dominion over those turned into pokemorphs, which may be a plus for them, but they must realize the danger this pokevirus has. That danger being...
--The Eventuality of Legendary Pokemorphs:
I feel that at some point, whether through team union or some other group, someone is gonna end up as a legendary pokemorph. If this comes to pass, it could lead to a can of worms being opened that may not be able to be closed. With these questions, an interesting story could be made...
--The Possible Future:
A possible storyline could go like this: due to the efforts of many grunts, Team Rocket has managed to get a sample of the pokevirus catalyst, as well as the frequency to make sure they dont get infected. After some time, Team Rocket has successfully been able to reproduce both the catalyst itself, as well as the ability to control what a person turns into. For this next part, I'm assuming a person is able to control what they turn into by inserting a specific pokemon's DNA/Cells into the catalyst. Because of the team's connections, they are able to obtain a sample of Mewtwo DNA. With both the Catalyst and the DNA, the unthinkable happens: Team Rocket Leader and self proclaimed "Strongest Pokemon Trainer" Giovanni, turns into a mewtwo pokemorph. Like I said before, this leads to a breaking of the world's balance, with the prospect of legendary pokemorphs being possible. This would lead to a four way struggle between three groups:
-Team Rocket, who wishes to use this newfound power to dominate the world, if not more
-Team Union, who wishes to stop Team Rocket from destroying any chance they have from achieving their ideal human-pokemon unity.
-Arceus, who wishes to end the pokevirus for good, even if it means eliminating the pokemorphs and anything else related to the pokevirus.
-Everyone else, who gets caught in the middle of this struggle trying to either stop the other three from carrying out their plans, or just try to survive.
While I have no idea how you would carry out this kind of story, or even if you would want to, I believe something like this has potential to become an amazing story. The pieces are there, they just need to be put together.
(Sorry for writing this long ass comment not even related to the picture, I just wanted to get this idea into words. The art itself is great, and the extra bit on how the catalyst caused this boy to split into two different people brings extra question into what it could do)
