Looks like iys = "ice", fyr = "fire".
It's not 'SHYTHMR' but 'SHYTHAR' (i.e. chythar)— the bird in 'm' faces outward, while the bird in 'A' faces forward.
The 'not a hieroglyph' is 'd' (usually shown without fingers).
So it's ice, fire, and Chythar da kitty.

Ah, I see! I mistook the vulture for an owl in Chythar's name!
And for the ice and fire I was looking at it too literally instead of as transliterated English with its weird multitude of vowels written with far too few letters :)
