Yeah, Freydar may be a husky based on the curling tail and fur markings (both in the flashback as well as the present setting of the story) There are other dogs with curved tails though, like Akitas and Samoyed dogs. But I do also strongly feel she may be a husky, unless the comic's cannon makes it clear otherwise.
