Well I gotta say that is an impressive collection! All those Kenner action figures bring back memories. My brother had, and still does have, the whole collection that was released in the UK, so while he didn't have the Queen Hive playset, he had the euro exclusive marnies, Hudson, O'Malley and Vazquez. His been a huge Aliens fan for years, got the entire Dark Horse comic collection which is his pride and joy and various other things from the series. Even has a couple of Aliens related tattoos, one of them being the Superman logo with a chestburster coming through it.

Bit of a fan from both series myself, and while I'm not a collector of models, figures and such, I've been collecting autographs from the cast of the movies. Currently, I have had 17 cast members autograph my Alien Quadrilogy set, 15 autographed photos from the Alien series and 2 autographs on my Predator DVD as well as 2 signed photos from that flick.

But yes, an awesome collection there!

Also, I just noticed, on the right hand side of the pic, in front of the AVP2 plastic cups, there appears to be action figures. These wouldn't happen to be the bootleg figures that were actually based off what the characters looked like the movie compared to the Kenner action figure line that was based off the dropped "Operation: Aliens" brand. If so, wouldn't mind getting a closer look at those because I saw a small black and white pic of the Hicks figure and have wanted to see the other figures ever since.

Actually, you'd probably be a good person to ask. I'm missing a couple of the comics that came with the action figures, and was wondering if you'd A) be interested in them or B) have some extras laying around I could take off your hands to complete my collection. I'm only hanging onto them until Dark Horse manages to release them together in a graphic novel (which is probably just a pipe dream).

But you still need MAD magazine #212 with the Alien parody... until then the collection is not complete.

This makes me sad that all of my Alien figures got left at my mother's house when i moved out. This is quite an impressive and extensive collection. Strictly awesome.
