"Basic ship maintenance is important for every explorer to know. I need to know where all of my fuses and other critical components are, and how to replace them if they fail or wear out. And most of these components are hidden away in little crawlspaces scattered around the ship. Probably because the designers of my ship hate claustrophobics or something. They call it "convenient", I call it a nuisance. But at least I don't have to go digging through wires and stuff to find them."
