Another old Yerf pic!
Sooo, long ago, I looked up a game magazine and got all exited over this one PC game that promised players the chance to design their own armies of hybrid animals, one of which was a cheetah/scorpion hybrid that I decided to try and draw myself, give or take some modifications on the face and markings.
Then I tried the demo. It was fun for a while but made me thankful I didn't get a full version.
The game, by the way? Impossible Creatures. Which I have heard from others that it sucks. Sadness.

It does indeed. Think about it: cheetahs can only run so fast for a while before they tire, right? But if one of these got to luck out and strike at their prey with their stingers before that happens, they can just rest up, wait until the toxins do their worse on the hapless victim and just feed on them when they finally collapse. Or, I dunno, snap at their legs with the extra claws and get at them that way.

Arf.. I look at scropions when they try to menace.. and I know they're poisonous, but they're mostly rather small, and the menacing just.. amuses me.. Like a crab menaces with it's claws.. You know it's going to hurt if it claws you, but it's so damn amusing to watch!
I think if I saw this? There would be fear.. no laughing XD
