In an effort to put more of my love of horror and monsters in my art, I'm making an alphabetical bestiary of movie monsters. I'm also experimenting with some mediums I don't normally use. Should be a fun series!
I've said that I wanted to refrain from human-like monsters in favor of more bestial ones, but this was an obvious must.
I went for the original book's description rather than the 30's film. It just felt like I'd have more creative freedom on top of a more unique look.
I do find it ironic that right as I was finishing this, I discovered the Frankenstein musical and I'm really liking what I hear so far.
