I don't have the money to play DDR at the arcade. I do have a soft mat where three arrows work and the fourth works if you stomp the hell out of it.
"Great idea!" I thought, as I broke it out to play me some Arrow Stomp 3. Then I remembered why I hated the damn thing.
Then somebody suggested, "Just duct tape it to your floor!"

Yeah, that sort of thing sucks. I'm lucky that I live on ground level and my floor is basically a concrete slab with carpet tossed over it; it doesn't really transfer vibrations anywhere.
And, hmm. Maybe shoot for an actual arcade machine? Nobody can complain then, and arcades are virtually abandoned in most places anyway. XD
