Don’t make crazy jokes around me if you don’t want me to draw them! My husband and his coffee-brother were joking about civet-bean coffee in their weekly coffee discussions, and I told them if they didn’t knock it off, I was going to make civet characters for them. I made good on my threat.

This is Kopi, my husband’s new character. Kopi and his cousin Leuwa are a pair of civets that run a coffeehouse. Don’t worry- they use normal, roasted beans! Kopi is an African civet, the larger of the civet species. I love all the swirls and stripes in his fur.
