I'm surprised she didn't use the angle of "I know someone else who had the blood of an evil dragon in her veins, and turned out okay". Seems Spyro so badly wants the world to be black & white .. perhaps he's forgotten how fortunate he is that it isn't.

This starts to seem somewhat familiar... Umm... Lion King 2?
Spyro is Simba, Frijir is Kobu, Nina is Kiara... With the difference, that Frijir is a cowardly kid, whereas Kobu was a brave-wannabe.

I'm not saying that Shalone's coping the Lion King, it's just a funny resemblance, in my opinion. :'D

I think that his emotions are to be expected. Just look at all the games he had to go through, and all the BS that he's had to fight through. Even the most pure gets a little tainted from being thrown up against all that and going at it solo with hardly any backup.

Maybe I should just say that they need to jump into his shoes/um...claws and see things as he sees them. He just doesn't want a repeat of all the BS that he's been through again.

This reminds me of "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride", I hope Spyro ends up realizing that he's wrong about the lad.

I only kinda understand his "protective dad" reaction... though I'm really out of it with the series, and don't know what all happened in all the games either. @_@

He seems to be overreacting to everything that's going on, rather than doing his best to remain calm and simply teach his daughter to be the good being he wants her to be. Which is gonna end up making her disobey him just because he's being such an ass about it...

It's reminding me of another interesting, sad fan offshoot about Sonic, in which everyone ends up HAVING to become robots just in order to survive in the world after Robotnic... everything's kinda gone to shit.
